The eBook comes in two formats: EPUB 3 (.epub) and PDF (.pdf).
The EPUB is an adaption of the web version, adapted to the fulfill the
EPUB 3.2
specification. The idea is to make the reading experience more fluid and customizible, but note that not all EPUB readers support the EPUB 3 spec and they sometimes override my custom styles in weird ways, making the book less than pleasant to read.
These are screenshots from three popular eBook readers on Android (ReadEra,
eBoox
and Lithium).
Despite my best efforts, the epub won't look great on all readers and devices.
In contrast, the PDF implements a fixed layout, and mirrors the layout and typography of the
printed version
(which in turn replicates the web version).
The content in both formats is the same as the web version, except for minor reorganization to make them fit the expected layout of a book better.
